God has given us His Holy Spirit to empower and equip each of us to live out His statues and word. We as His children are to demonstrate love to all especially those in the household of faith. It is our trademark that separates us from the world, for the world knows how to love those that love them, but we are called to demonstrate the love of God.
Abraham's love for his son was tested to see if he would be obedient to God inspite of his love for his son. His obedience allowed his blessing to be waiting in the thicket. He didn't see it, but He believed God had to be faithful to His name, His word and His promise.
