We all have to make the decision if we are willing to pay the cost to follow Jesus. It's more than a feeling, but a choice to deny all even self to go where Jesus will go, stay where Jesus would stay, say what Jesus would say, deny what Jesus would deny. The cost to follow Jesus is more than gathering blessings and bragging that we are heaven bound, but it is a decision to say no to the lust of the eyes, the pride of life, the lust of the flesh and embrace a life obedient to the path of Jesus. His disciples laid down it all to follow him and then imitate him and then share him with the world. They were willing to lay down their lives in order for others to know HIM. Are you willing to count the cost to follow Jesus?
