Jesus gave us an example in the scripture what is happening spiritually in our world. We are to be prepared for the Lord's return by making choices that will help us and not destroy us. The wise virgins prepared to have more than enough as they waited for the return of the bridegroom, but the foolish were ill-prepared and were found being left outside of the closed door. May we not neglect our spiritual life and take advantage of the opportunity to fill our lamps and keep them filled as we wait and serve the living God. Keep your lamps trimmed and ready.
