We are in warfare that requires spiritual weapons.  The Apostle Paul was under attack, his credibility questioned, the church he established in the name of Jesus was being filled with chaos, lies, confusion and destruction.  When he went to defend and realign, he understood responding in the flesh would not win the fight.  But he knew that being fully persuaded in and on God would help win.  He understood at his disposal given by God were spiritual weapons to defeat the enemy.  Those weapons, the full armor of God laced in love, humility and grace would dismantle and demolish all that the enemy was doing.  He recalled what Isaiah said that no weapon formed against you shall prosper and every tongue that arises against him, God had equipped with the words of truth to condemn and refute. We have been given that same authority and power.  We must tap into the wisdom and discernment of God to know that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal or fleshly, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds.  We must understand that we war not against flesh and blood but against power and principalities in high places.  But we have the equipment that will bring down everything that exalt itself against the knowledge of God.  Use your spiritual weapons and you will win every time.  Spiritual weapons have power.  Powerful to pull down strongholds, cast down arguments and everything that exalts itself against the wisdom of God.
